Straight up the A514 through Ticknall and Stanton-by-the-Bridge, then into Barrow upon Trent. Around twenty minutes and a decent run. From Woodville or Newhall, add five.
Why the workshop matters
We put the car up before we touch the software. Soft boost pipes, a carboned intake, a turbo with play in it: all things worth finding before you ask the engine for more, and none of them are findable on a driveway.
Mostly working vehicles and tow cars
South Derbyshire sends us a lot of vehicles that earn their living. Trade vans, pickups, 4x4s, and family diesels that spend weekends pulling a caravan or a trailer towards the coast.
Towing is where owners notice a remap most sharply. A car that had to be worked hard to get a loaded trailer up a gradient will sit in the gear it's in and pull. It's less dramatic than a power figure and considerably more useful.

What we do
Stage 1 remapping, performance and economy maps, diesel remapping, and van and fleet work. Software only. We don't remove DPFs, EGR valves or AdBlue systems, because that makes a car illegal to use on the road.
Will a remap help with towing?
Usually more than anything else it does. Towing is a low-rev, high-load job, which is exactly where extra torque shows up. Tell us what you tow and how heavy, and we'll map it accordingly. Check your vehicle's towing limits haven't changed on your insurance while you're at it.
